Hi there,

We are getting the below error for mod_pagespeed from last few weeks

http://dl.google.com/linux/mod-pagespeed/rpm/stable/x86_64/repodata/filelists.xm
l.gz: [Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum
Trying other mirror.
Error: failure: repodata/filelists.xml.gz from mod-pagespeed: [Errno 256] No
more mirrors to try.

We are using Linux x86_64 bit system. and we have installed
mod-pagespeed-beta_current_x86_64.rpm package for mod_pagespeed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Please do the needful ASAP.

Thanks,
Mamta

When do you get that error? Is this from your operating system or a cron job
that refreshes its view of the latest version of mod_pagespeed?

I haven't seen this error before, but we can take a look to see if we can
reproduce the problem.

Do you have a URL for your site? If so, can you either (a) provide it here or
(b) type:

   wget -q --save-headers -O - YOUR_SITE_URL | grep X-Mod-Pagespeed

and paste the results here? I'm looking for something like this:

   X-Mod-Pagespeed: 0.9.16.9-576

filelists.xml.gz and repomd.xml grabbed directly from the download servers
appear to be consistent and have matching checksums. It could be a yum caching
issue. Does it work if you do the following:

- add "http_caching=packages" to /etc/yum.conf (the default is
"http_caching=all")
- run 'yum clean metadata'
- try to update again
