What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a document with marave
2. Click on the options button
3. Attempt to resize the editor area

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The button should display the options. After that the editor area should
movable and resizable as usual.
When I click the options button the only thing I get is a message saying
"Setting opacity to: 10%". Then when I try to resize the editor area or
move it, it is like it's a square in the background with no relation to the
text in it (see attached screenshot).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Marave 0.7. Ubuntu Karmic Koala.

Let me guess: you are using Qt 4.5, right?

In r437 you should see the preferences again, maybe it fixes the other problem too.
