I tried to use Marave on OpenSUSE 11.2 but it did work for me. I have
attached the screen shot and the output for the problem.

I am using python-qt4 4.6.

Another thing when I open a file nothing happen and this shown in output:

one more thing the button of Extra preferences doesn't work at all. 
I think it is invisible to me at least.

Aha.. plugins icon doesn't be shown at all but configure is shown but doesn't work.
