Issue 57: button context menu always pops out to the right
  Back to list

currently, buttons appear on the right-hand side.
hovering over a button brings up a context menu that always pops out
towards the right-hand side.
If the editing window is really big, the context menu cannot be displayed
properly any more, because it is allowed to go beyond the edge of the screen.
It would be useful if it could be 'mirrored' to appear on the left-hand
side of the button if there's not enough space to draw it on the right-hand
side.

The problems with ad-hoc interfaces :-)

There is a problem in that if you are using oxygen style that would make the buttons pop
*under* the editor, because of a workaround for a oxygen bug in KDE 4.3.

I will find a way around that too.

There are checks now so that with Qt 4.6 the pop-under should not happen.

I refactored the "menu" thing, and now it should be possible to hack it so it works even if
it's out of room by sliding to the left or something.
