Making weapons and refboards follow lfo color schemes

All weapons, and lfos are capable of being colored!

This is really easy. All you need to do is:

  • Make your model
  • Make your texture. Feel free to color it as you please. Also, you should try and give it ambient occlusion. Try and get it to match the current ambient occlusion on the models
  • Make a color mask

Details on the color mask

Basically, do not put any color where you want the model to be tinted with the user chosen color. Merely make it grayscale. I recommend white (with some AO darkening), so it can be as bright as the user chooses. THEN, you must make a color mask. This is also a grayscale image. For the areas the user can choose to tint, you make white, and for everywhere else, you make black.
