Two things for this. human characters should have a falling animation, like a parachuter that is keeping balanced in mid air. it should happen if the character is falling for longer than 1 second or something similar. pressing a button puts you on the board, for simplicity sake it could be C.

I committed a falling clip for human players. It's only really designed for falls <6 seconds.

The change is live. Please tell me what you think. It's actually shift+jump and ctrl+jump to go on and off.

ohhh where to start?! lol Its awesome to say the least, but buggy at its current state. This is understandable tho since its a bit rushed. First off we gotta put trapar waves in there, it doesnt feel right without it, im all for a toned down version of it tho. the SFX for eureka hitting the ground are hilarious and awesome, however one of them sounds like football players hitting each other....needless to say the lulz ensued but it some what breaks the immersion when Eureka starts sounding like big harry men. The getting up animation for eureka is fine up until she starts using her legs, wheren she seems to either be attempting to do her morning stretches along with getting up, or attempting to show the world as much of her black panties as possible. About 90% of the time if you get on your ref board while falling in mid air, the board will not face the right way and Eureka will be stuck in the falling position. Shift + Space does put you on the board, but with no jump you start off on the board in the ground, it still works right but looks bad, the character should get a few feet off the ground before getting on the board. Eureka needs a running animation At some points in time genjo would get on his LFO and there would be a lil Eureka tagging along with him on his board. Hmm I think thats all of them!

What happened to the sfx I got you? You specifically told me not to get impact sounds because you had perfect ones. No offense, but tink's right on about those. Falling animation should either be skydiving position (chest-first), Renton style (ass-first) or Eureka style (back first). No one falls feet first. Ditto on all the bugs, plus I think that maneuvering on a board could definitely use some fixing. |
