You've given me many many sounds, What I really would like is a good looping
wind noise.

What I've currently got is okay, but not good.

Basically, what I would really like, is that sound of wind when renton is
falling from the gekko go (when he runs away). It NEEDS to loop well, because
it's used when you're off trapar all the time basically. The volume of it is
changed merely based upon how fast you're going.

Not entirely urgent, but go ahead and do it if you think you can do this
better/faster than the hud.

I'll work on both.

Quick note: I specifically tried to sample that exact moments you're mentioning, and
either found them too tainted by dialogue/music, or was only able to grab bits and
pieces that I then uploaded.

Yeah, I have to chop all my falling noises to pieces because they're all stuffed with
dialogue. On an interesting note, I'm actually having amazing progress with the vocal
removal tool; if I can just pin down Renton's vocal range, I should be able to start
reclaiming data with minimal loss. Also, I found a way to make wierd robo-voices by
fucking up the range input for said tool.

Though it's not for LFOs, I did get some nice looping tracks for Ref Boarding.
They're called Ref Boarding Fall 1&2; the first one is an intro, and the second one
loops indefinitely after the 1st one finishes.

Actually, you can't see the new clips because my svn access is broken.

it's not broken. We deleted the svn and remade it to make more room (causing some weird
hash error or something). You need to delete the svn folder and re-checkout into a new
one.

Lulwhats

Okay... where do I checkout the new folder to? Remember: I'm an svn noob.

Also, this seems like news that would have been useful to have earlier...

make a new folder, then do svn-checkout, and use this address.
https://lift-mod.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

same name/password as before. It's cause we 'deleted' (and then truthfully remade
the same thing) the svn, it thinks they're different files. just the way svn works.

svn fixed. Try playing 1 initially, then looping 2 after if you want something to
test. On another note: the demo is totally fucked right now.

I totally can.

...Just as soon as I get a new computer. It'll probably be like 4-5 days.
