Currently, you can spec to melee. this is really the only actual specific speccing. Some info: Default force is 2000000 weights. these have no solid world unit value: handhelds: 5 shoulders: 10 boost tank: 5/unit (max of 25) additional integrity: 5 for every 10 integrity added (max of 50) tech upgrade (any): 50, unless empty, which is 0 Speed effects. None of these had armor/tech upgrades unless noted. Boost speed will last longer (by 1/3) if boost tank is upped to maximum (but lowers speed), noted by second value: base speed, with a handheld: 99 m/s, 87 m/s boost speed: 602, 592 m/s base speed, nothing: 102 m/s, 89m/s (going to be called melee speccing from now on) boost speed: 730 m/s, 721 m/s (having no weapons results in 500000 additional force) melee speccing + super boost upgrade: 76 m/s, 64 m/s boost speed: 830 m/s, 823 m/s -- Current list of tech upgrades: Hud invisibility: causes your name to not be drawn on the hud Super Boost: additional boost speed of the same force value for not having any weapons (500000 force). See speed effects above Boost Charger Xtreme: Increases boost charge speed by 2. This just means you'll usually have more boost, but does not affect total boost value, as boost does not start recharging until 1 second after you stop using it (boost will not start recharging if you run out. you have to let go of the key first). Comments? Changes? Ideas for new specs/tech items?

errr. maybe? Specials will indeed just be a different weapon, that don't actually take up a weapon slot. Not sure what you mean by 'special devices'

There are no special devices, there are accessories? perhaps thats what he meant.

When we do get a GUI for adding techs and weapons to an LFO we need a simple to read display that conveys everything that you just went over in your first post, like a bar graph or a pie graph.
