The svn has been reset again, cause we ran out of room. You'll need to make
a new folder on your desktop, then svn-checkout the following address:
https://lift-mod.googlecode.com/svn/build/

From now on, nothing BUT the build shall go on it, and build shall be
committed as a 7zip file (file will be the same, it'll just get binary
diffed). Hopefully the svn won't fill up as quickly now. We'll see how big
the updates will be for the first couple to make sure.

To play the latest version of the game you'll now need to svn update, then
unzip the file somewhere.

As for other shit: No uploading anything else. The site and reference
images will probably be stuck in ftp, which I'm currently working on
getting set up with user privileges/etc. Don't worry, I backed up
everything before resetting.

models/textures will probably just need to be compressed/emailed around,
though we might also stick them on said ftp.

this is stupid. and a waste of svn space that we COULD be using but simply aren't
for, from my pov, no good reason....

its not like it'd be hard to maintain it, we can just have someone maintain the none
build stuff(design and site stuff and what not) and they can delete or whatever old
files that aren't needed anymore etc etc

150 MB out of 800 leaves a whole lot of empty space, and honestly, I don't see why we
can't either have 2 svns or look into an alternate method of file distribution and
maintenance for the alpha version.

as cer mentioned, there is the ftp, but an svn in my opinion is alot easier to manage
than the ftp and probably quicker too! so for the mean time, i have actually made
another google code project, with its own svn, for stuff thats not build related. so
references, site stuff etc etc call all go in that, and i will maintain it for
everyone, hows that sound?

2 svns sound fine to me; it's not like we'll notice the difference.

The reason it seems that there's a bunch of 'emtpy space' is because each time I make a
commit, the size difference is actually added to the space we're taking up. This is
due to svn keeping a history. That's why we keep filling up the svn, not because we're
adding other stuff (the code provides a minimal addition. Adding something like a
texture or something seems to cause around 30 megs in additional space taken up, even
though the texture isn't 30 megs)
