A science facility used for testing LFOs has become a hot spot for close
quarter death matches. difficult turns that put you upside down and
obsticles make it a different experience. I still have to put the lobby in
its gonna be suspended between pillars right in the middle of the map.

Any details you guys want me to add? something that wont take up much space
but make it look a bit less repetitive. This one is complete and its been
sized down to make it harder to move in.

i think, with the current control scheme, this map is just annoying and just plain
not fun at all. i mean, the idea behind it is good. but i found it very annoying
trying to do any cool manuveurs in the tunnel/between the pillars as the controls are
just not very intuative. and thats just doing it without fighting an opponent!
i think we either need to redo the controls for better/easier manuverability(probably
the better option in the long run), or just not have smallish enclosed levels.

Yeah, it feels pretty small, regular, and boring. The only cool thing you can do on
this map is fly along the curve until you're upside down, then do a 180 degree tilt
adjustment, and that's really it. The ceiling and walls really hamper movement and
evasion.

I thought it was just a test map to show how little lag we could get.

It is currently a test map, because the tunnel system is not that shape

The current map that you can play is not this map, this one is smaller and has more
obstacles making it even harder to fly in. We need to work to make it fun to play in
this type of map. Lets get this one uploaded and get on that.

"this one is smaller and has more obstacles making it even harder to fly in" atm,
this translates to even LESS fun to play in with current controls, as the current
test map is too small and cramped to be able to do anything. regardless, my statment
about changing/redoing the controls still stands, i really think we need to change
it. not many people are gonna like the current controlls, and if we actually want
people to play it, then we need to change it.

"We need to work to make it fun to play in
this type of map." thats what i meant by saying that, we need to mess with the
current gameplay so that this kind of map can be fun. srry that didnt translate well.

I personally think the current controls are great.

who asked you?

i think we should work on making locales from the show. torchling and i should model
a bunch of different types of bombed-out building and remake sierra del cielo or
whatever the flying fuck it was called. it would be sick to fly through the streets
shooting at eachother and...shit

While I do like that idae (one that we have all been wanting to do, Im giving us
things to do that need to be finished before we go public. These things can be done a
bit faster know what i mean? And yes tech the controls are great, thers a few minor
tweaks that will be put into place to make it easier to maneuver in small places tho.

Don't forget FAC-51; I believe we've already got a launch ramp made for that, and the
tunnels are definitely big enough for LFO fights.

Ciudades del Cielo sounds like a great map for both personal and LFO-based lifting.
