Granted mechs dont have anything to pull their currently put away weapons out of so we need to come up with something simple. This is pretty much just for going from the in hand weapon to the melee weapon. For going from the gun to the melee weapon, I would like the in hand weapon to disappear, the right hand can then make a movement towards its left thigh as if there was a sword at his side and he was going to pull it out of his sheath. the LFOs hand then cuts across in the opposite direction (towards the right shoulder) and magically has the melee weapon in his hand. For the boomerang (default melee weapon) it should unfold during this animation, and a little glimmer of light should run across the blade (lick a little lense flair or something) <<<<I just realized that you have all the LFOs riding with their right foot foward. So take what i just wrote, and reverse it melee in the LEFT hand and so on and so forth.>>>>> For going from melee to a two handed gun, the melee weapon should disappear with some sort of poof...something shiny. the LFO can then pull the gun out of his imaginary holster under his arm pit. You know the kind that cops have that holds their pistol right next to their boob. For akimbo weapons (guns held in each hand) I would like each hand in unison to reach under the opposite arm pit (just below the rib cage) and then magically pull out each weapon. lemme know if you have questions.

Well, in the anime, they just have the weapons located somewhere on each LFO. One-hand weapons like arm lasers are usually built into the hand, and come up with a simple animation. Melee weapons are usually kept around the waist (as you suggested), and two-handed weapons like machine guns are usually just kept in the hands The only time I think you'd really need to make up an animation is going from two-handed weapons to one-handed or melee weapons. The simplest thing I can think of is to throw the weapon away, but that would stop people from switching back to it...

the 606 has the boomerang holsters on the side of the arms, why not just pull them out of there huh? i spent like 10 minutes shaping those things accurately don't make me have wasted time plinkotink i won't abide by that no sir

Arms, huh? Would you happen to also know where the boomerangs for the other LFOs are stored? I always thought it was just in the back-waist area...

Yeah i know thats where they are kept and what not, but If we make the animations like I first said then they could work universally, for any melee weapon, not just the boomerang. Same goes for your response Tech, having these kind of animations will allow us to do it once and not have to worry about it again.

well thats just lazy we should strive for perfection and put more effort into the animations... but cerebrate is the only animator. we should look for an animator. none of that faggot baby pussy shit plink does where he puts some help wanted ads all over different forums and then loses hopes after like a day - it could take awhile to find a good animator.

stfu doug you dont even know how i look for new members. and dont knock it so much, i found you didnt i? dick anywho the pulling out the gun animation looks good, the going from gun to melee needs work. Theres too much flailing of the arms i think for a robot. perhaps just two simple movments will do. grab it then flick it out boom boom. more roboty. penis.
