Issue 3: License status of programs linked to GPL lemon...

I'm not sure about the license status of programs that incorporate code
generated by this GPL'd version of lemon. If skeleton.c is in the GPL,
then so is a program based on it. That means after an input grammar is
specified, the resulting program contains GPL'd code. If a non-GPL program
incorporates the resulting parser, what is its legal status? Would the LGPL
solve this issue? I bring this up because I am writing a Gentoo ebuild for
lemon, and I will probably have to use the version of lemon from the sqlite
source tarball, even though it has no version information or README file.
It seems like lemon is less useful with the GPL license. Please let me know
if I'm wrong.

Don't use Google Code version. Use original from http://www.hwaci.com/sw/lemon/ - it is public domain and more up to date.

Actually GPL has no viral effect on its artifacts.
