When launching kinect-ultra I get this far

--------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to Ultra Seven on Kinect!

Available keys during the play:
[ESC] -- Exit
[q][a] -- Adjust the depth of 3D virtual objects.
[s] -- Retake the background image overlayed when you fly.

It may take a minute until initialization completes... Enjoy!

Failed: Can't create any node of the requested type! (g_context.InitFromXmlFile(
getResourceFile("config", "OpenNIConfig.xml").c_str()))
Error occured. Press any key to close this window.

------------------------------------------------------------

I get the same error with FAAST - so guessing it is to do with my OpenNI and sensore setup

OS: W7 32bit
OpenNI: OpenNI-Bin-Win32-v1.0.0.25.exe (latest unstable) - v1.0.0.23 stable generated openni.dll entrypoint errors.
Sensor Drivers: SensorKinect-Win32-5.0.0.exe

Sensor is connected and primesense drivers loaded correctly - can run the NIViewer sample app

Thanks for reporting the issue and resolution. It is weird that you solved this error by installing NITE because I believe I eliminated dependency on NITE at all from my code. I may have overlooked something.

Best,
Tomoto

I also put this to FAQ. I would like to mark this as verified and close.
