Signing into the system- The user opens a browser, visiting the system home page;
- The user types the user name and password in the sign-in box, submits them;
- The system identifies the user, assigns privileges and redirects the user to the default workspace.
If the entered user is a professor:- The professor should be able to view the course filter box which consists of all the courses that he teaches
- He/she makes his/her course selection from this filter box
- When he/she makes his/her course selection
- He/she can view the entire course roster
- He/she can select one of the following options:
- A Section within the Course from the section filter box
- Course Gradebook
- Add Assignment to the the Course Gradebook
If Course Gradebook is selected- He/she can go back to the course page by clicking on the "Main Page" link
- He/she can view the list of assignments/tests within the course
- He/she can view the gradebook for each assignment/test in the course by clicking on the assignment/test name
- He/she can select a section from a drop-down box in order to view the gradebook for that section
Assign/modify assignment/test grades for all students in the courseScenario 1- Click on the "Grade" option under the assignment/test name
- Go into the text box against the appropriate student and enter/modify student grade
- Click on the "Save" button to save changes made
- Click on the "Cancel" button to cancel all changes made
Scenario 2- Click on the assignment/test name to view the grades of the assignment for all the students
- Click on the "Grade" option on the page
- Go into the text box against the appropriate student and enter/modify student grade
- Click on the "Save" button to save changes made
- Click on the "Cancel" button to cancel all changes made
If a Section is selected- He/she can view the section roster
- He/she can select one of the following options:
- A Group within the Section from the group filter box
- Section Gradebook
If Section Gradebook is selected- He/she can go back to the course page by clicking on the "Main Page" link
- He/she can view the list of assignments/tests within the section
- He/she can view the gradebook for each assignment/test in the section by clicking on the assignment/test name

- He/she can view the gradebook for each assignment/test for the group by clicking on the assignment/test name

Add a new assignment to the course gradebook with Add Assignment- The professor provides the following information:
- He/she clicks on the "Create" button
- He/she clicks on the "Cancel" button to cancel all changes made
Modify an assignment in the course gradebook- The professor clicks on the "Edit" button next to the assignment name
- He/she edits the name of the assignment
- He/she clicks on the "Save" button
- He/she clicks on the "cancel" button to cancel all changes made
