Dan as an Coordinator of a Course

Identification Establishment

  • Admin automatically becomes coordinator of any courses.
  • Exporting grades for a Group
  • Exporting grades for an entire course
  • Importing grades for a Group
  • Importing grades for a Section
  • Importing grades for an entire course
  • Moving student(s) from one Group to another Group, in the same Section
  • Setting up default gradebook items on a Section
  • Viewing the hierarchy of a Course
  • Setting up Sections
    • Admin selects the course
    • Admin clicks on the task link
    • system shows a list for sections,
      • for an existed section,
        • Admin adds a tag on it
        • Admin removes a tag on it
        • A link to the default gradebook items for the section.
      • Admin addes a new section, with sufficient tags to distinguish it from existed sections(usually a section type keyword is enough).

  • Setting up Groups in a Section
  • Assigning Instructor to Groups
  • Validating the Course/Section/Group assignments
  • Setting up the Teaching Unit of a Course
    • Admin selects the course
    • Admin clicks on the task link,
    • system shows a list for associate instructors, professors, coordinators.
    • each field of the list is editable.
    • Admin also adds new rows to the list for new instructors.
