Issue 227: Mountian Lion Compatible Version
Reported by dscottb...@me.com, Dec 10, 2012
I like to get in contact as I've taken your format.plist file and re-written the rest in native Cocoa so it works on Mountain Lion. You can try it a https://code.google.com/p/ctivo/.

I can only test on 10.8 but compiled it for 10.5 base to see if it could work.

Let me know (dscottbuch@me.com)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm guessing that not all of the formats designs from the iTivo are working in this. Please let me ow which formats are not working. Also, please move comments to. https://code.google.com/p/ctivo/issues/detail?id=1

Nice work. But it's very laggy on 10.8.2. When i click on a video it typically lags to highlight where I click. At that point it lags on anything I click after that. Any ideas?

That's not a new problem. There are lots of outstanding UI issues.

https://code.google.com/p/itivo/downloads/detail?name=iTiVo-beta-20121212.dmg? That's what I downloaded. Maybe a bad image? I deleted everything under ~/Library/ that was related to itivo, still no luck.

That's the right image. What are you seeing now? At the very least, you should be able to open your prefs window.

I still can't get the new version working with Mountain Lion. I wonder if it's related to me trying things before to try to get it to work. I am currently getting an error when I first run the program: "Applescript Error. sh: mDNS: Command not found. No Matching processes belonging to you were found." I thought this new version fixed the mDNS issue. Right?

If you have an mDNS executable the scripts will try to use that. If you've copied it from an older system it may be causing you grief.

I have finally gotten the latest version of iTiVo to work on my Mountan Lion machine. I removed all mention of iTiVo on my mac, including plists, then reinstalled the latest image. Now it seems to work fine. Thanks for all the great work on this wonderful program!
