Hi,
- I have really appreciated iTiVo.
- Now that I have upgraded to Mac OS X Mountain Lion, iTiVo does not work.
- I miss it very much.

----What Version of iTiVo?----
Version 1.7.6 (1.7.6)

----What Version of MacOS X?----
MacOS X 10.8 Mountain Lion (Build 12A269)

----What download format did you select?----
(Sorry. I don’t remember. It was a long time ago.)

----What steps will reproduce the problem?----
1.
- I start the program and immediately I get an Apple Script Error:
"sh: mDNS: command not found No matching processes belonging to you were found (1)"
      See attachment called "Message 1".

2.
- After I click "OK" in the error message, the program starts.
- I enter the TiVo's IP address.
- I click "Connect to TiVo".

3.
- Immediately I get two messages.
- First I get a dialogue box. (See
"Your Media Access Key" is not set correctly. (Select *Help* from the menu if you don't know how)"
      See attachment called "Message 2".
- Then, following instantly, I get an Apple Script Error:
     "Can’t get item 1 of {}. (-1728)"
     See attachment called "Message 3".

I would really appreciate it if you could make this work.
Thanks.
Tom

This issue should be closed, because it has already been covered by Issue 198 .

This fixes the problem.
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/dns-sd /usr/bin/mDNS

I found this here:
http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=9208238

Which refers to this:

This does not fix the problem, though the GUI looks correct, the file will not transfer.
