What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download, Convert, and Import a show into iTunes using iTiVo
2. Move it to another folder and reimport into iTunes manually
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All tagging should stay the same as when it was originally imported by iTiVo. But instead, some
tags are dropped (such as video format reverting to Movie rather than staying TV Show, and
Description is removed). I don't know why this would happen, it seems that all tagging is
embedded in the file itself, and should stay the same upon reimporting. Any ideas?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

When you manually import a show into itunes, it resets all the tags associated with
the show. The metadata is not stored in the actual mp4.

Right click on the show after importing, go to "Info", and set those values
appropriately...

This is not really an iTiVo bug. That's just how itunes maintains its own metadata.

Atomic Parsley allows you to store the information in the file. Something about atoms within the file. All I know
is that most of my video files keep there metadata even after moving them to different folders, but that must be
because I used Atomic Parsley to tag them.

So if you end up using Atomic Parsley to tag files, as a couple of the threads requested, this problem would be
solved. So until then, I guess this problem is with iTunes not iTiVo.

Thanks.
