There is additional metadata related to episode number that can be
extracted to be used to mark a TV show as such (and not a movie) as well as
insert into the resulting file metadata for iTunes.

Maybe AtomicParsley can help with embedding the metadata?

there are great programs and media browsers that will automatically download all
episode information as long as the episode # is in the file name - I love this
program the only thing I see missing is the ability to have a custom filename using
show data variables. that would fully automate a great home iTivo theater with
boxee, plex, and or video drive (and others)

Still no custom filename support, but basic metadata is now embedded into the file
via atomic parsley (title, showname, episodename, episodenumber).

Also, shows can be placed in subdirs based on showname.

(so yeah, not completely configurable yet, but working on it).

Ok, marking this issue as fixed: AtomicParsley used, as well as .xml and .txt
metadata are now generated (in the beta)
