What Version of iTiVo? 1.7.6 What Version of MacOS X? 10.5.6 What download format did you select .mp4 What steps will reproduce the problem? n/a Please provide any additional information below. How do you cancel a subscription? Meaning, not just cancel one particular download from a subscription -- but cancel the subscription altogether? I can't find an option or preference, a list of subscriptions to edit, or see anywhere how to do that. Thanks in advance!

Sorry to be dense but... bottom right of what? The main window? Some subsection of the Prefs pane? I don't see any list of subscriptions in the main window or in the Preferences.

The main window is split into a top half which lists shows on the tivo, and a bottom half which has your queue and subscriptions. The right side of the bottom half lists your subscriptions. Do you not see that?

Oh, it's possible to increase the size of the top half at the expense of the bottom half. You may have done that to the maximum and only have on big list of shows from your tivo. If so, look for a tiny little dot thing at the bottom of the list of shows, and drag the dot up....

and I forgot to mention.. if it was the case that you completely hid the bottom half, then you'll need to unhide it, quit iTiVo and restart iTivo (an issue with Leopard's button rendering will hide a bunch of buttons otherwise).

That's the trick! It wasn't that the bottom pane wasn't expanded -- I had a top and bottom pane -- it's that the right half of the bottom pane wasn't expanded. I don't remember ever closing that pane off... so maybe it's closed/minimized by default? Either way, hooray! Thank you for helping me- I know answering basic questions is a hassle. Even though it seems I'm the only dunce to have run into this problem, maybe adding a screenshot to the "Subscriptions" section of the FAQ showing the location of the subscription pane would help if anyone else is similarly confused.

ok added in the subscriptions wiki page.. no biggie. I don't know why the frame was hidden. I'm pretty sure the default layout exposes it so *something* must have caused it to be hidden. Oh well.. let's hope that's a one-off. |
