- What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add an HTML5 video tag in the page.

- What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect the whole page not to scroll (and, correctly, it doesn't if I touch the other areas). But the page does scroll if I touch the video.

- What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iPad.

Please provide any additional information below.
Keep up the good work, I love this script!

We see this as well. If there's a video tag on the screen, you can touch and scroll the whole screen around, but you can't from the container div

I also have the same issue and it's not just the HTML 5 video tag. When you are using Vimeo's legacy embed script which uses flash to display video with an object tag, touching the video to scroll the page does not work. You can touch all around the video and scroll, just not on the video.

I am also having the same issue. Is there any traction on finding a resolution? Absolutely loving iScroll.

Also experiencing the same problem on iPad. Being able to prevent swipe/scroll on <video> tag area would be very useful.

That said, this is pretty much the only fault I have experienced in a big integration of iscroll. It's a fantastic library :-)

I think this could be a browser limitation in some instances. Some object tags do not recognize mouse scroll wheel events either. So if you are using your mouse wheel to scroll down a page and your your cursor happens to land on a youtube video or something, the scroll wheel detection will stop responding.

I also have this issue on Chrome and Safari for MacOSX, using HTML5 video tag as a background doesn't allow me to see div content's expanding with scroll because the scroll doesn't work.
