Cecile created a test message using Madelynn Snow test script and generated it in BYIM test for Nathan's review. I have checked it against the NIST validater and here are the issues I'm seeing: • The code table for PID-10 should be CDCREC instead of HL70005 • If the value for PID-22 is unknown then nothing should be placed in this field. • If no Next-of-Kin is defined then the entire segment should not be sent. Currently the segment has no name it but it is still being sent. • The code value for RXA-2 Body Site is incorrect. The last bullet was likely a data entry error. Are these other items something to look at in BYIM?
