Feature: ability to search "user-independently" for activities according to the geographic location they were posted in.

That's the mobile 'nearby' stream. It would be great to have something like that available from the API with being able to query also for general keyword, for a keyword in the placename string, for a keyword in the address string and to specify a radius that constrains the search area.

It makes sense to add location data to all activities, ask users if and to what degree they want to share their location. Street / neighborhood / city / state / not

The nearby stream is a ton of fun, but excludes a lot of posts from non mobile sources that might be relevant in a local context as well. Having localized data available from the G+ API could lead to all sorts of wonderful applications.

Similar to the Twitter "Search by geocode" (https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/get/search/tweets) this would be helpful to have both for common Activities (posts, etc) as well as specifically for Events. Eg, search for "free coffee" near a geocode, or "jazz music" within events near a geocode.

Not having it means you have to manually cross-reference the geocodes from the returned data, which defeats the purpose of specifying maxresults to limit the load on the server.

when the activity is posted from mobile app, will ask to share location. Then their is chance to get the location of activity. Ex. https://plus.google.com/+JulianBond23/posts/DHh1nEax82b Still we are waiting for activity location when posted from any other medium.
