What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. M2 <- gvisMotionChart(Fruits, idvar="Fruit", timevar="Date", date.format = '%Y-%m-%d') 2. plot(M2) 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? it should display the date formatted in '%Y-%m-%d' but the webpage is unable to load at all. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? googleVis_0.4.5.tar.gz Please provide any additional information below. I used to use Date object for timevar and it worked well and this time I use the same code but the webpage failed to load while if I change to M2 <- gvisMotionChart(Fruits, idvar="Fruit", timevar="Year") the motion chart does show up in the webpage. I am wondering if there is any change recently about the timevar parameter.
