[feature request rather than issue]

The Google chart visualisation components supports various controls that can be chained together to filter data from a data table before it is passed to a display component, allowing the creation of interactive dashboards.

Is support for these controls on the roadmap for future releases of googleViz?

We are looking for volunteers to help. However, the questions is how much of this functionality should be done in R rather than in JavaScript directly?

My gut feeling was that it would be most useful if we could construct the dashboard wiring in R, and then generate the javascript? I don't think the Dashboard javascript is that complicated (?!), and from the small amount I played with it seemed to be quite regular... It may be worth trying to doodle a few R-like commands by inspection of some sample dashboard Javacript to see if we can find an easy mapping from R to the Javascript?

Indeed, it would be nice to have. Do you have the time and knowledge to start? We can discuss this further via email. Thanks.
