What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installing the product
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Lots of informative literature is expected. A broad, diffuse smattering of
random mumblings associated with programming with no distinction between
google gadgets, google desktop, and google desktop gadgets, on multiple
websites, each subtly different and at times contradictory, is what I find.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.10.5, on api 5.8.0.0, on ubuntu 8.10 (i386)

Please provide any additional information below.

Am I even posting to the right tracker? Does google desktop gadgets need
the google desktop sdk? Isn't google desktop some kind of indexing thing
for people that can't remember where they put their files? Why is a file
indexer associated with tiny web browsers designed to show only one page?
Is my confusion apparent? Can google perhaps write some end user
documentation, and also make SOME distinction between the different things?
Perhaps call them widgets? That that gonna throw too big a wrench into
things? Am I being unreasonable?
