What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installing Google Desktop

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect the program
to work - it does for a while then begins go cause BSOD.  When I'm getting
it every one or two hours (after a number of days?) I uninstall it.  The
BSOD issue goes away with uninstall


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version (not sure what it was now - it's uninstalled), XP SP2 fully
patched


Please provide any additional information below.

A BSOD is more than likely a hardware problem, and the Google Desktop is likely just 
bringing out the problem where you can see it.  Try doing a checkdisk and defrag, 
check your video drivers to ensure they're the most current, and test your memory 
thoroughly for defects using a well-known test application.  BSOD are rarely caused 
by the application itself, but rather a driver or device it's trying to utilize.
