What steps will reproduce the problem?

hg clone https://google-authenticator.googlecode.com/hg/ google-authenticator/

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Clone should be starting instead a 404 error is displayed: abort: HTTP Error 404: Not Found

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Arch linux

That probably has something to do with the fact that Google Authenticator no longer uses Mercurial :-)

You should use "git" to check out the source tree. Did you find any instructions that still refer you to using Mercurial? If so, please update this issue with references to the incorrect documentation and I'll change it to say "git".

Yes, that page is obviously obsolete at this point. I marked it as "deprecated", so it should no longer show up by default. Hopefully, that'll ensure that no other users are going to be confused by other switch to "git".
