What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Install WP 2.7 RC1 2. Upload Golden Gate and Zend to their plugin directories as instructed. 3. Activate Zend (this works), Activate GoldenGate (this errors out). What is the expected behavior? What do you see instead? Expected behavior is that GoldenGate activates and then I can configure it. Instead when I attempt to activate GoldenGate I get the follow error at the plugin screen. Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Warning: Zend_Loader::include_once(Zend/Gdata/Photos.php) [zend-loader.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.national/daniel13/dangarion.com/wp-content/plugins/_zend_gdata/Zend/Loader.php on line 83 Warning: Zend_Loader::include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'Zend/Gdata/Photos.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/.national/daniel13/dangarion.com/wp-content/plugins/_zend_gdata/Zend/Loader.php on line 83 Warning: Zend_Loader::require_once(Zend/Exception.php) [zend-loader.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.national/daniel13/dangarion.com/wp-content/plugins/_zend_gdata/Zend/Loader.php on line 87 Fatal error: Zend_Loader::require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'Zend/Exception.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/.national/daniel13/dangarion.com/wp-content/plugins/_zend_gdata/Zend/Loader.php on line 87 What version of the plugin are you using? 1.5 of plugin, 2.7 RC1 of Wordpress. (I realize that this is a RC, but figured I would start letting you know now, in case you haven't tested it yet). Please provide any additional information below. I have verified that the folders are in the correct locations.

Everything is default, which is 644 for files and 755 for folders.

Ah, the problem could be that it's looking for Zend/Blahblahblah but it is starting inside of the Zend directory already. It seems like _zend_gdata/zend_gdata.php isn't doing its magic properly. This is either because this is failing: $path = dirname(__FILE__); Or because you the script doesn't have permission to call set_include_path. Can you try adding your _zend_gdata directory to your PHP include_path? e.g. /home/.national/daniel13/dangarion.com/wp-content/plugins/_zend_gdata It should then show up in the include_path in the Fatal error if it's a problem reading the files and not a problem finding them.

Shot I don't think I can do that with my host, unless I run custom PHP, which I really didn't want to get into doing. Don't see a way to customize my include_path on my hosts Wiki. I asked if they could either include zend frameworkd / gdata, of if they can add the include for me. I'll see what happens...

I have more or less the exact same problem below:

You mentioned adding _zend_gdata to my PHP include_path, but forgive my ignorance,
what file would I be editing? I don't seem to have a file titled "include_path". Am I
looking for the wrong file? Am I in the wrong folder?
Thanks,
Paul

Hey Paul, include_path is a configuration variable that is set in the php.ini file. If you're running your own server it should either be in the same folder as your web server software or in /etc/php if you're on a linux. If you're having someone else host your blog sometimes they let you configure your own local settings. You can probably ask your host for some assistance in setting it in that case. |
