With the Google Maps SDK for iOS v2.0 release we now have instructions on how to use the library both via CocoaPods and via manual installation. Thanks for the request!
Description
It would be great if you could consider releasing Google Places API for iOS outside of Cocoapods and via Manual Download. Although Cocoapods is a great dependency manager, it should not be solely available via it. I may be mistaken, but popular libraries such as Facebook SDK for iOS give you both options.
I would much appreciate this feature, and id be surprised if I was the only one.
