This is to confirm that we plan to resume the rollout of the new cross-signed root CA certificate as described in
The rollout will be very gradual, with incremental launches across the Google Maps Platform services and regions, and its phases will proceed depending on engineering evaluations rather than by a defined timetable. The change will be transparent to the vast majority of Google Maps Platform API clients, including all mainstream maintained OS versions.

Description
Screenshots of the issue are here:
I have a demo showing the bug here:
It would look neater if only the 'Save to Google Maps' text was displayed. The bug happens with places which do not have a Google Places ID included within the place info parameters.
This bug occurs in v3.18. in v3.x there is currently another problem, the 'Can't save this place to Google Maps' text is the only text to be displayed. The 'Save to Google Maps' link never displays.

An additional presentation bug happens when the info window text width is small the sign-in text gets truncated.
Here is a screenshot of that problem :
The truncation bug may be connected to the existing issue at
If it's not connected then this could be reported as a separate issue.
