the problem is that the "orange man" doesn´t go back to it´s initial position (on the streetview control) when we close the streetview window. Our "orange man" remains on the map.

I'd really like to be able to position the pegman too. When i use custom controls it appears in a very strange position so i can't use it with custom controls.

The pegman remains on the main map after Street View is closed if there is another map attached to the StreetView (with a pegman pointing the view).

Why are there two maps in view? Can you provide a reproducible test case?

When you close StreetView, pegman is still on the main map. If there is no overview mini-map attached to the StreetView pano, everything is OK.
