Achievements

  • We built a system for controlling the motion of a robot by human speech.
  • We built a system for controlling the motion of a robot by human gesture commands.
  • Successful communication between modules(running on Windows) with Turtlebot (running on Linux) via server-client network.
  • The Turtlebot is password protected.
  • The robot can move to speaker source direction and perform the required action. Currently this feature is associated with "FORWARD" command only.
  • We have integrated speech and gesture commands and successfully tested on Turtlebot.
  • We also added complementary integrator which currently works with "Go" speech command with gesture giving direction.
