Issue 707: Google Apps does not work with OpenID registration

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to gerrit without having registered or signed in.
2. Click Register in the top right.
3. Enter a Google Apps OpenID URL with OpenID enabled, e.g. for example.com's Google Apps account, https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/site-xrds?hd=example.com
4. Click Register.
5. Sign in / Click Allow.

What is the expected output?

Successful registration.

What do you see instead?

A redirect back to Gerrit with the Register dialog reopened. No account created.

I'm not sure we can (or should) do anything here.

openid4java isn't quite recognizing the Google Apps URL.
And there are changes coming down the pike that will make
Google Apps accounts work differently with the OpenID
service, making it more compatible with what Gerrit expects.
Unfortunately they haven't finished rolling out yet, but I
can say my @google.com Google Apps account works correctly
with Gerrit now, and its using this newer code.

In the interim you can create a Google Account that has
the same email address as your Google Apps account, then
use that Google Account to login to Gerrit.  Its confusing
because you have two different accounts with the same email
address, but they have different passwords and use different
backends for account data.

Use https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount to create the
Google Account if you choose to go that direction.
