Issue 3129: Upgraded to 2.10, now all open changesets are gone...
Status:  CannotReproduce

I followed the upgrade instructions to go from 2.9.4 -> 2.10. I shut down gerrit before the upgrade, ran the suggested command including the 'init' option, and started the upgraded gerrit. Now all changesets are gone. Did something change in the project's access and they are still there but I am not authorized to see them? Or did they disappear somehow?

Thanks,

nick

And related: How do I recover the missing commits? I guess they are still 'dangling' somewhere, but where? When I run

git fsck --lost-found

in the bare git repository on the server, I can't see them. Where are they stored?

Thanks,

nick

Just tested once more an upgrade from 2.9.4 to 2.10. All changes still visible after the upgrade without running the reindex program. This means, that this issue doesn't occur always.
