Affected Version:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a review
2. Create a few patchsets and merge
3. Date in the git log show the date of the first patch, this can
be of days or weeks ago while the last patch was today.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. I would expect the date to represent the date of the latest patchset.
Now I felt unsure if the correct patch was merged, but the sha1 was correct. It gives the idea that the last change was long ago while in fact it only just happened.

The author timestamp is as given by git. If you amend a commit (which is what you do when creating a new patch set) only the commit timestamp changes on the commit. The author timestamp remains the same.

The only way to change the author timestamp is to use --reset-author when doing the amend.
