Issue 1359: INITC (OSC 4) does not affect color table for colors already printed to screen
Status:  Invalid
Owner: ----
Closed:  May 2012
Reported by winst...@gmail.com, Apr 30, 2012
Affected Version:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run http://web.mit.edu/keithw/Public/htermbugs/256colors2.pl
2. Without clearing the screen, run http://web.mit.edu/keithw/Public/htermbugs/256colors2.pl-defineall

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The second program should alter the colored cells printed previously by the first program. This is what xterm does (since INITC is altering the color lookup table used to rasterize the screen). With hterm, the new color definitions only affect subsequent prints.

Please provide any additional information below.

I wish I could delete or close my own bug report! I clicked the wrong "report bug" button. I will refile this against Chromium OS.
