| Issue 79: | Better handle a delete pushed to a change (":refs/changes/n") | |
| Back to list |
Reported by Shawn Pearce <sop@google.com> on Mon Feb 16 17:41:22 PST 2009 Source: JIRA GERRIT-79 Affected Version: 2.0.3 We shouldn't bother logging when a user pushes a delete to a change, e.g.: git push url... :refs/changes/8887 the log currently shows: 2009-02-14 13:47:20,328::ERROR: com.google.gerrit.server.ssh.Receive - Error computing replacement patch for change 8887, commit 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 This isn't that useful of a message for the server administrator, we don't know who the user was that caused this, but its also a harmless usage error that we should be tossing back at the client via the SSH stderr channel.
