What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. https://android-git.corp.google.com/g/#change,59515 What is the expected output? What do you see instead? i should be able to read the comments by just clicking to expand the Comments section. since a couple of weeks ago, i can't. it's been made much more difficult. i now have to go through all the patch sets, which is a real pain in the ass.

On the main 'change' page there's a Comments section, usually with collapsed comments. If comments have been published, there will be a message in this section like this: Jesse Wilson 11:17 am Patch Set 1: (1 inline comment) It's nice to know that there was a comment, but it would be far nicer to actually see the comment right there inline. Otherwise to read the discussion of a code review, one must click through and expand each patch set and then each file in those patch sets.

comment 2 describes how i'm claiming gerrit used to work. are you telling me i've confused gerrit and mondrian? i could have sworn that the web UI used to include the same text summaries we get in the mails. anyway, yes, that's what i want: the text summaries of comments included in the web UI, where currently we only see "(1 inline comment)" or whatever.

enh: Yes, you confused Gerrit for Mondrian. We haven't shown the comments on the change page.
