Today, the only way we let cookies live longer than the browser session is 
when you are using OpenID authentication and the user has clicked the 
"Remember Me" checkbox during sign-in.

It would be usefull to enable it for LDAP auth and better, define the cookie 
lifetime in gerrit.conf.

It would be indeed great to see this feature implemented. It is boring to have to
login all the time...

Considering doing this for 2.1.4, doesn't seem
like its very hard to implement.
