This is similar to https://code.google.com/p/gerrit/issues/detail?id=311 ,
except here I'm referring to emails sent to a code reviewer.
When I am included as a code reviewer, I receive many emails that I don't
need, including:
- I'd like you to re-examine...
-- This isn't necessarily true. It may be a rebase, or they may have
uploaded, and then remembered they forgot to make changes. In general,
unless the author reuploaded AND made comments (i.e. responded to comments
I or other reviewers made before), I do not want to know about this.
- Your change could not be merged
-- I do not care. This has no effect on me as a reviewer
- submitted
All in all, these emails result in me skimming my emails from gerrit, and
ignoring truly useful ones.
