| Issue 3499: | Go syntax highlighting misparses backslashes in raw string literals (e.g., `\`) | |
| 3 people starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
Affected Version: 2.11.2-1071-g6687cd4 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. https://go-review.googlesource.com/#/c/12779/1/src/cmd/dist/build.go@88 What is the expected output? What do you see instead? `\` is a one-character raw string literal, as backslash sequences are not interpreted within the backquotes. However, instead Gerrit seems to think the backslash is escaping the backquote, and the raw string literal continues until line 833. Please provide any additional information below. http://golang.org/ref/spec#String_literals

If they continue the same release cadence as the past few, a new one will be out in a few weeks. Are you OK with waiting for the next release, or do you want it now? If so I can spin a new custom build.

No rush. Waiting a few weeks is fine by me.
