************************************************************
***** NOTE: THIS BUG TRACKER IS FOR GERRIT CODE REVIEW *****
***** DO NOT SUBMIT BUGS FOR CHROME, ANDROID, INTERNAL *****
***** ISSUES WITH YOUR COMPANY'S GERRIT SETUP, ETC. *****
***** THOSE ISSUE BELONG IN DIFFERENT ISSUE TRACKERS! *****
************************************************************

Affected Version:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log on to OpenStack Gerrit (https://review.openstack.org/#/settings/contact) using my userid (maiera@de.ibm.com)
2. Navigate to "Contact Information" in left hand menu
3. Enter offline contact information (mailing address and country) and press "Save"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- The expected output is that it stores the contact information.
- The actual output is a message:
  Code Review - Error
  Server Error
  Cannot store contact information

Please provide any additional information below.

- Getting this issue resolved is important to me because it seems that I cannot submit changes to gerrit if there is no offline contact information.

Possibly a problem on the openstack infra.

I can't seem to reproduce with issue my own id. I don't get an error when I save my contact info. Could it be that your session ended and you were not asked to re-login? That happens to me sometimes which causes some error until i refresh the page and re-login to Gerrit.

This also could be something to do with not signing the CLA. I believe you must sign the openstack CLA otherwise your account may not work correctly.

Make sure you have registered as an openstack foundation member. Its what got me.

I'm having the same issue. I've already signed the CLA, and I am a foundation member. I've tried logging out, re logging in, same issue. I've tried on different types of browsers (chrome, firefox, safari), same issue.

This is not a Gerrit issue it's more likely an openstack issue. Please contact the openstack infra team for more help. https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/InfraTeam#Team_resources

I highly recommend using either the IRC or mailing list.
