************************************************************ ***** NOTE: THIS BUG TRACKER IS FOR GERRIT CODE REVIEW ***** ***** DO NOT SUBMIT BUGS FOR CHROME, ANDROID, INTERNAL ***** ***** ISSUES WITH YOUR COMPANY'S GERRIT SETUP, ETC. ***** ***** THOSE ISSUE BELONG IN DIFFERENT ISSUE TRACKERS! ***** ************************************************************ Affected Version: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Edit a commit message from change-screen. 2. Enter long lines, note that the text input box wraps the message so it looks nice. 3. Commit the change, not that the auto wrapping is not preserved and you get a single very long line unless you line-break manually. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? * WYSIWYG - Either of: ** When you update the message automatic word wrapping is preserved (sounds as the best option to me) ** The input box doesn't wrap the line so that you get a visual cue when your lines are too long. Please provide any additional information below.
