************************************************************ ***** NOTE: THIS BUG TRACKER IS FOR GERRIT CODE REVIEW ***** ***** DO NOT SUBMIT BUGS FOR CHROME, ANDROID, INTERNAL ***** ***** ISSUES WITH YOUR COMPANY'S GERRIT SETUP, ETC. ***** ***** THOSE ISSUE BELONG IN DIFFERENT ISSUE TRACKERS! ***** ************************************************************ Verified not working on Gerrit 2.9 and 2.8.4 Affected Version: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a super-repo which subscribes to a submodule using .gitmodules 2. Watch the Gerrit event stream 3. Submit a change in the submodule repo 4. No update-ref event for the super-repo is emitted, despite that the branch tip is updated What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected: a "ref-updated" event for the super-repo on the Gerrit stream Got: nothing Please provide any additional information below. Gerrit updates the branch ref in the super-repo and should emit a update-ref event at that point.
