************************************************************ ***** NOTE: THIS BUG TRACKER IS FOR GERRIT CODE REVIEW ***** ***** DO NOT SUBMIT BUGS FOR CHROME, ANDROID, INTERNAL ***** ***** ISSUES WITH YOUR COMPANY'S GERRIT SETUP, ETC. ***** ***** THOSE ISSUE BELONG IN DIFFERENT ISSUE TRACKERS! ***** ************************************************************ Affected Version: 2.8 and 2.9 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Submit change 2. Code review +2 (if necessary, Verify +1) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The button to merge the change says "Submit". After https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/#/c/54000/ Submitting has generally been the act of submitting the code to Gerrit while pushing the change to the Git repo has been referred to as "Mergining". The button to merge the change to the Git repo, currently labeled "Submit" should be labeled "Merge". Please provide any additional information below. Not just the button will need to be changed, but also the tooltip that comes up when hovering over the button.

Even if changing it to Merge isn't the best option, surely there's something better than "Submit".

Which label do you suggest then?

Instead of bikeshedding that topic again and again with another suggestion how to name that button, and filling our mail boxes with that stuff, why not to allow to customize UiActions in generally or this one specifically per site as changes.PushButtonLabelNameProvidedHereToStopBikeSheddingThisTopicAgainAndAgain = FooBarBaz or even per user base (in recently introduced All-Users project)?
