Reported by scio...@gmail.com, May 12, 2014
Affected Version:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to https://review.openstack.org/#/settings/
2. Click your username
3. Note that the label changes to a read-only field which you can do nothing but click outside of to change back to a label.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I see a text input field with a yellow background that makes me want to change it; when I type, it ignores me like Melissa Todd did in 8th grade. It's no more pleasant now than it was then.

I expected to be able to edit the field; if I can't edit it, I'd expect clicking causes no change in state, thus advertising its emotional unavailability (unlike Melissa Todd, upon whose glacial stare many 8th grade boys hopes shattered like "unsinkable" ships of yore).

Please provide any additional information below.
Melissa Todd married an eventual used car salesman in the small town we grew up in; they divorced 7 years later. I think I dodged a bullet there.

I think this is as intended. It's like that because it's a "copyable label". That means when you click it, the text is highlighted ready to be copied into the clipboard.

The same is used in other places, for example the sha1 and Change-Id fields on the change screen.

Yes, it's intentional. Copyable labels are not for editing but for copying (with flash widget right to it, if flash is enabled in Preferences and Flash plugin is loaded in browser).

"Full Name" in https://review.openstack.org/#/settings/contact
can be edited.

Note: there is a known issue 2635 in Safari browser that prevents Cmd+C to work on copyable label.
