************************************************************ ***** NOTE: THIS BUG TRACKER IS FOR GERRIT CODE REVIEW ***** ***** DO NOT SUBMIT BUGS FOR CHROME, ANDROID, INTERNAL ***** ***** ISSUES WITH YOUR COMPANY'S GERRIT SETUP, ETC. ***** ***** THOSE ISSUE BELONG IN DIFFERENT ISSUE TRACKERS! ***** ************************************************************ Affected Version: 2.8.3 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. with at least Safari on OS X, browse e.g. <https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/9249/> 2. click "Download" (upper right corner), list of git command lines drops down 3. click e.g. the git command line to the right of "Checkout", git command line is selected (blue background) 4. press Cmd-C to copy to clipboard 5. blue background is removed, but command line is /not/ copied to clipboard What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Please provide any additional information below.

Ctrl+C works as expected in Firefox and Chrome on Linux (with both Settings => Preferences => "Use Flash Clipboard Widget" on and off).

The hideTextBox() that occurs within the KeyPressHandler (showTextBox) seems to be related -- commenting that line out causes the text box to behave normally. Perhaps the text box is being hidden before the browser copies the text?
