| Issue 2625: | Can't sign in to gerrit if password contains '?' character | |
| 11 people starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
Affected Version: Gerrit 2.7.x Steps to Reproduce : =================== 1. Go to the Login page in Gerrit 2. Key in '?' into the Password field and you'd see a popup (as attached). What is the expected output? If my password contains '?' as one of its characters, I should be able to key in without any popup that appears. What do I see instead? When I try to type it into the password textbox, a popup appears as attached showing the shortcut commands. Workaround : ============ I type my password in a text editor and copy paste it into the password field.

This version is a collabNet fork of gerrit, did you raise this issue to them?

No answer from original poster after 1 year. The issue with the collabNet fork should be addressed to CollabNet.
