When doing reviews it would be nice to have the ability to search for patches that have no dependencies.

Use case 1:
 - QA team is looking to verify patches, only care about patches that are mergeable (dependency-depth=0)

Use case 2:
 - Developer doing code review. Long chains when rebased will take over top of the most recent page fairly quickly. Being able to search only for patches that are near to merging say dependency-depth=1 would eliminate this.

It would also be amazing to have a threaded view, eg:
 \-> Whitespace cleanup
  \-> Added feature x
    \-> Added feature y that depends on x
  \-> An unrelated patch that depends on whitespace.
 \-> Another unrelated patch

The first use case is already possible with the is:mergeable search term. For example:

https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/#/q/is:mergeable
